There is an author, who goes by the name of Fel. He releases his stories, chapter by chapter to the internet. This page has links to his sites and to files of his stories. They vary in genres, including fantasy and sci-fi. In my own humble opinion, I believe that Fel has written novels and epics that rival the works of J. R. R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings or Frank Herbert's Dune series. He would be as popular and as well known, if only he could get these published.
Fel has created several universes. The story of Tarrin Kael. This is a universe of fantasy (elves, mythology, were-wolves, were-cats were-... powerful magic and sorcery to name a few items) This is where Fel has spent the most of his time writing. Several of these books are comparable in length to the epic story Les Miserable's, or longer. And, all of these stories have been posted for free on the internet.
He also has written in another genres. One is a science fiction tale, based on earth in the present or near future. In this story, earth has been conquered by an alien matriarchal empire that has telepathic abilities. As of January 24th, 2007 the story of Jason Fox in Subjugation is completed.
Another story is the life of Kit Vulpan. A young fur who is running from family, pain and life, but runs smack into love in the oddest of places. Only his family is not through terrorizing him yet.
Yet another universe is the story of Kyven Steelhammer. A crystal cutter who can see spirits. But, If the certain people within his village find out, his life is forfeit. Follow his Spirit Walk as he finds his true courage and reason for life.
Draconian Measures is set in modern day earth. With a portal to another realm opening soon, dragons are awakening. The eldest, strongest and most sensitive to the magic that flows through the portal, awaken first.

The fantasy story that has captured my attention is the Tarrin Kael universe. The epic (and i do mean epic) stories of Tarrin Kael is great reading, if you like fantasy type stories, and don't mind a few typo's. Although, these stories are a little different for the average story from the genre.
Quoting Fel's favorite Selani farewell, "May the winds ever be at your back, and the water that touches your lips be sweet."

- A new story has just been started in the Sennadar universe. Legacy is based several decades/centuries? after the initial stories of Tarrin Kael and the Firestaff series. Here is a link to the first chapter in M$ .doc format. Coming from Fel, I know that it will be a wonderful story.
Subjugation Universe
Subjugation is a story that centers around Jason Fox and Jyslin Shaddale. The Faey, an alien telepathic race, has taken control of Earth and are using it as a farming colony to supply food for their empire. Jason is a college student who is learning faey technology, but is upset with the faey and their treatment of Earth. Along the way, Jason meets a fiery red head name Jyslin, who takes a fancy to him and will not take no for an answer. There is a problem though. Jyslin is a Faey Imperial Marine. And, marines are not easily deterred. . .
In Insurrection, the Trillanes are at it again. They are once again trying to get earth and Jason. Only this time the end result may be the destruction of the Faey Empire,... and Earth is now a part of the Faey Empire.

A new story that is as riveting as any other story of Fel's. The story is based around the fox Kit Vulpan, who grew up in Boston the scion of a rich 'old money' family. This is the tale of his problems, victories and his independence from his family.

* I have discontinued the MS Reader files. Each time that I have installed MS Reader, it corrupted the Word/Mobipocket file import utility. Whether this was on purpose, or just the usual poor coding by M$...
WebAdmin's note: The LastRead link is a link built into the MS .doc files. If you have macros enabled in MS Word:
- click the mouse on the word where you stop reading,
- use the SetLastRead macro then exit a book (red LR if using the optinal menu buttons).
- When you come back to the book, use the GotoLastRead macro to return to the last place you bookmarked using the macro in number 2 (black LR if using the optinal menu buttons).
- To make macros easier, use the GOTO Bookmarks menu (click VIEW > TOOLBARS, check GOTO Bookmarks, SET Bookmarks and JR to your preferences)
If for some reason the macros do not work:
| click TOOLS > MACRO > MACROS, and ensure that the macros are there. |
| if macros are there ensure that the security settings will allow macros to run by clicking TOOLS > MACRO > SECURITY and selcting a lower security setting. |
| if macros are not there, and you have Word 2k, Word XP or Word 2003, copy and paste the text within this file to your files MACRO location in MS Word. |
